Pen Drawing


The boy's name is Oluwadamilare ('Dare for short). He seems to be saying... "How dare you..."



In my part of the world woman's head-tie could take so much time to get it fixed right. Sometimes it has to be packed stiff with safety pins to keep it from falling off, especially on motor-bike. These were caught behind the wall of a classroom helping out each other.



It was the day after Durbar (Sallah Day celebration in the Northern part of the country).
So amusing to see the joy of a winner as it is reflected by the hausa man.



This was rendered from a photograph from my brother's wedding. The three performers had to play closely to be able to get the rhythm amidst the noise around them. I bet you don't want to see the noise...unh!
