Panel 2 (P-2) Acrylic on canvas |
This is about my subjective thoughts expressed through drawings and paintings; off-shoot of encounters within my immediate environment and occasional brush with the spiritual. It promises to be an expression of this beautiful world around us as it relates to the Spirit, Soul and Body including it's dynamic socio-cultural reflections.

River side

'River side' Acrylic on canvas. 12" x 38".2012 |
This painting is imaginative, dates back to child-hood years when we visit the village and watch as the locals bring their laundry to the river to wash. The village is called Ajegunle-ota and the river is called River Agunloye in Ogun state of Nigeria.
The work started from the panel on the left (P-1). After signing off the initial painting I was not too satisfied with the outcome. So I had to add the other panel (P-2) while introducing some elements that would compliment the other one (P-1}.
Below are the details of the individual panels. Thanks for viewing and if you are interested in the original you can e-mail me: oluseyi.ajayi@gmail.com.
